Bread is a national treasure
Each culture and nationality of the world has its own recipe for making bread, because different ingredients are also used for its preparation. In the well-known to us friendly company of bread, you can safely add such products called tortillas, cheesecakes and many others.
 

The word “bread” comes from the Greek “klebanos” – this is the name of the pots in which the bread was baked. The very first plant for baking bread is considered to be oak, because its acorns were ground into flour. Then this flour was diluted with water and bread was baked on hot stones.

Let’s start to get acquainted with bread products from the warm countries of our planet. For the preparation of bread, a tree of the same name was used, for the preparation of which its fruits were used. To do this, they were placed in a pit with walls lined with banana leaves for several days. The fruit was cut and, under the influence of sunlight, they turned into a homogeneous mass, similar to dough. Bread was made this way in Australia, and some African tribes still use this recipe.

One of the well-known members of the bread company is tortillas, a cornbread made by Mexicans. In the countries of South America, they prefer potato crisps and sweet biscochos with pumpkin, which are in perfect harmony with chocolate.

The other hemisphere of the planet also pleases with a variety of bread products, for example, roti and chapatis, unknown to us, are cooked in Pakistan. An interesting feature of these products is that they are prepared from various types of flour, for example, they use mustard flour.

 

They will also complement the bread company with puri and naan, which have a peculiar way of cooking, for example, one is fried, the other is prepared in a tandoor, respectively. Still nationalities prepare unleavened bread without the use of yeast, but at the same time it is incredibly light and delicate in taste, but it is better to taste it once than hear it a million times. But this type of bread product keeps its secret – very fine flour is used for it, the so-called ata.

Despite the constant wars in Israel, he also beckons his admirers with bread products, which are truly considered only Jewish national dishes. True gourmets are accustomed to seeing the famous French baguette in their assortment, which is characterized by a crispy crust and an abundance of voids inside. For example, the Finns make round rye bread with a hole inside, and the secret of making the dough is passed down from generation to generation. The Spaniards call their bread “pan” and prepare it in 315 types, while Germany attracts tourists with more than 500 types of bread, and more than 1000 of buns. It is not without reason that bakeries have been known since the Middle Ages.

But the records for the consumption of bakery products were set by the Turks. They consume up to two hundred kilograms of bread a year. There are known such types as – ekmek (ordinary white bread), paid (flat cakes), simit (sprinkled with sesame seeds) and borek. The Turks have a rule that fresh bread should be eaten on the day of preparation.

In all countries, bakers are revered and respected, because the preparation of bread requires pure intentions and good intentions.
