PSYchology

Nature is wise. On the one hand, it is constantly changing, on the other hand, it is cyclical. Year after year, spring, summer, autumn and winter replace each other. The periods of our life also alternate, active and passive, light and dark, colorful and monochrome. Coach Adam Sichinski discusses what the natural cycle teaches and how to learn to live in harmony with the seasons of the soul.

Life cycles do not necessarily follow a natural chain from spring to autumn or from winter to spring. They can change in any order depending on our daily decisions.

The four life cycles are a metaphor for the seasons.

Spring is a time to learn, look for new opportunities and solutions.

Summer is a time to celebrate success and achieve goals.

Autumn is a time to fight, make mistakes and overcome stress.

Winter is a time to reflect, accumulate strength and plan.

Spring

This is the time to find new opportunities and make quick decisions. In the spring, you open up to communication, see the direction of life clearly and try to use new skills to achieve your goals.

Your activities and manifestations during this period:

  • restructuring of personal values and priorities,
  • meeting new people,
  • training and self-development,
  • goal setting,
  • strategic, tactical and intuitive thinking.

Emotions of spring: love, trust, joy, gratitude, approval.

The onset of spring is preceded by:

  • increased self-esteem and self-confidence,
  • final awareness of desires and goals,
  • leadership position in relation to one’s own life.

Summer

Summer is the time when you achieve your goals and desires begin to come true. These are moments of life associated with a sense of joy and pleasure, creative activity and faith in the future.

Your activities and manifestations during this period:

  • teamwork,
  • travels,
  • leisure,
  • completion of what has been started
  • risk-taking activities
  • expanding your comfort zone
  • active activity.

Summer emotions: passion, euphoria, enthusiasm, courage, confidence.

In the future, you may experience fatigue and lack of time, which can interfere with the path to the goals.

The summer of life does not come according to schedule. This phase is preceded by:

  • proper planning and preparation,
  • right decisions and choices,
  • lengthy introspection,
  • the ability to see new opportunities and take advantage of them.

Autumn

Autumn is a time when we face difficulties and setbacks. The usual order of things is broken. We feel we can’t control our lives the way we used to.

Your activities and manifestations during this period:

— attempts to avoid responsibility,

— doubts and hesitations,

— the desire not to leave the comfort zone,

unrealistic fantasies, negative and inefficient thinking.

Autumn emotions: anger, anxiety, disappointment, frustration, stress, discouragement.

Autumn comes as a result of:

  • ineffective actions
  • missed opportunities,
  • lack of knowledge
  • miscalculations associated with inefficient thinking,
  • stereotyped, habitual patterns of behavior.

Winter

Time for reflection, planning and social «hibernation». We emotionally withdraw from the world. We indulge in thoughts about our destiny, forgive ourselves for past mistakes and rethink negative experiences.

Your activities and manifestations during this period:

  • the desire to find inner peace and the desire to be alone with yourself,
  • communication with family, friends and loved ones,
  • keeping a diary, recording your own emotions,
  • critical, objective and deep approach to the events of life.

Emotions of winter: fear, relief, sadness, hope.

In winter, we are either pessimistic or look to the future with hope, more prone to procrastination and passivity.

Winter comes as a result:

  • lack of emotional intelligence
  • sad events — heavy losses and personal failures,
  • inefficient habits and thoughts.

Conclusions

Ask yourself: what impact have life cycles had on my life? What did they teach? What have I learned about life, about myself and those around me? How did they change my personality?

The duration of each cycle is a reflection of our state and ability to adapt to conditions. If we successfully adapt, we quickly go through unpleasant phases. But if winter or autumn drags on, use the situation for self-development. Transformation is the essence of life. It is inevitable, unchanging and at the same time plastic. Desires, needs, behavior must change and develop.

You should not resist and complain about fate when it rains endlessly on the soul. Try to learn from any experience. Suppose you love spring, a period of activity and takeoff, but even the gloomiest autumn days have a charm. Try to embrace the beauty of your inner landscape, no matter the weather. Ideally, autumn and winter should be periods of active, albeit invisible, internal growth. Nature, and we are part of it, has no bad weather.
