The Industrial Design Association Awards

The appointment to find out which design project will win will be on June 9, in the event that has developed the Association of Industrial Design for the Promotion of Arts and Design ADI-FAD, in Barcelona, with the realization of the awards ADI 2016.

The awards are part of the FADfest, the largest design festival organized in Barcelona, where 80 projects among which, along with Tapas, stand out others such as Without a roof and without title, the magazine Apartamento, or the research project L ‘ ex-designer Project Bar by Matí Guixé.

Important and renowned artists will be part of the jury of the ADI awards, among which will be the design historian, writer Viviana Narotzk, the also art historian, teacher and writer Raquel Pelta and the journalist specialized in digital culture, art and technology José Luis of Vicente.

These awards are focused on organizations or people that are carried out in favor of the culture of design, through various concepts, being a great novelty in the national panorama of dissemination of the culture of design.

The dissemination of discourse, processes, events, exhibitions, installations, websites, documentaries or other expressions that delve into the conceptualization of design are the basis for the development of the experimental field, of research and innovation, which is also within gastronomy , as the Tapas exhibition that has been chosen as a finalist treasures it.

The creative activity of kitchens is increasingly related to aesthetics and design, as we mentioned in previous magazine articles such as the Big Food grrrreat market, the Barcelona Design Week or the Valencia Disseny Week.
