7 foods for hair health
 

An unbalanced diet may be the reason why hair becomes dry and dull, in which case even expensive promising conditioners are unlikely to be effective. Like the rest of the body, our curls need proper nutrition to be bouncy, shiny and strong. What should we eat to keep our hair healthy?

1. Lentils

Lentils are an excellent source of protein for vegetarians. In addition, it is rich in iron and folic acid, which improve the flow of oxygen to the scalp and hair follicles. This, in turn, accelerates cell regeneration and strengthens the hair.

2. Salmon

 

Salmon is rich in omega-3 fatty acids. Our body cannot synthesize them on its own and receives only from food. Dull hair and dry skin are signs that you are lacking in omega-3s. 3. Sweet potatoes and carrots

Vitamin A improves not only vision, but also the condition of the hair. This is because it nourishes the scalp and is responsible for the production of sebum, a natural conditioning agent. Deficiency of this vitamin makes the skin dry and prone to flaking, which can cause dandruff and dry hair. Eat foods rich in beta-carotene, such as sweet potatoes and carrots, where beta-carotene is converted to vitamin A.

4. The nuts

When it comes to healthy hair, all kinds of nuts come to the rescue! For example, walnuts. They contain biotin, which strengthens the hair and stimulates its growth. They are also rich in vitamin E, which repairs damaged hair and prevents breakage, as well as omega-3 fatty acids.

7. Bell pepper

Bell peppers – a sweet and colorful addition to any meal – are prized for their vitamin C, which can stimulate hair growth. Vitamin C also plays a role in collagen synthesis, which protects hair and makes it strong. It is best to increase your collagen supply by eating more vitamin C-rich foods rather than taking chemical supplements.
