What is the difference between natural and organic cosmetics?

– Both do not contain harmful or dangerous substances, petroleum products, synthetic dyes and flavors, cosmetics are not tested on animals. Natural and organic cosmetics contain at least 95% ingredients of natural origin.

At the same time, natural ingredients contain at least 50% of components of plant origin, at least 5% from certified farms and plantations, and the rest are identical to natural substances with the addition of certain permitted synthetic ingredients. Animal products are also allowed. Such products do not have an environmental certificate.

In organic cosmetics, there can be no components of animal origin, and plant components make up at least 95%, at least 10% are grown on certified farms and plantations. This is cosmetics, the manufacturers of which not only declare the naturalness of the ingredients, but can also confirm this with an eco-certificate.

Organic cosmetics have a shorter shelf life than cosmetics with synthetic preservatives – an average of three, six or eight months.

– Many people think that only expensive luxury cosmetics are of high quality. And if the cosmetics are from the mass market, then it cannot be of high quality. But it is not always the case! But in general, mass-market and luxury decorative cosmetics are very similar in their properties.
