10 simple rules on how to drink water to lose weight

Grandiose plans to lose weight and find lightness in the body can begin to be realized with a small but sure step – to build the right relationship with water.

Rule 1. Start your day with a glass of water on an empty stomach. You can add a slice of lemon or ginger.

Rule 2. Drink one or two glasses of water before each meal. In 15-20 minutes.

Rule 3. During meals, do not wash down food with water, do not interfere with the natural process of digestion.

Rule 4. After eating, do not drink water for one to two hours.

Rule 5. Drink more than 2 liters of clean water a day. Or 8-10 glasses.

To calculate the optimal amount of water that you need to drink per day, WHO recommends using the following formulas: for men – body weight x 34; for women – body weight x 31.

Rule 6. Drink only warm water. Cold water is not suitable – it is not absorbed immediately, the body needs time and energy to “warm it up”.

Rule 7. Drink purified, still water. It is also good to drink melt water – to do this, freeze the bottled water and let it melt.

Rule 8. Drink the water slowly, in small sips.

Rule 9. Always keep in front of your eyes, on the table, in your purse, a bottle of drinking water.

Rule 10. Drink a glass of clean water before bed.

The water diet is contraindicated in diseases associated with the urinary system and heart, in hypertension and diabetes. Also, this diet is not recommended for pregnant women. Those who are already obese should be careful about it: with a high level of insulin in the blood, edema may develop.
