Who should not use young potatoes

We have already told readers how useful are potatoes. However, it is important to consider whether it is assembled in our region or imported when buying potatoes.

Nutritionists believe that truly useful are only potatoes grown in the region in where it is sold. Often imported potatoes are grown through the use of shock doses of fertilizers. And also, because of the lack of sun and heat, these roots do not get the many vitamins.

Not recommended to use a potato for:

  • people with diabetes and other patients with chronic diseases
  • pregnant and lactating women.
  • Children up to 5 years.

Better to look for the first spring vitamins in greens: spinach, onions, parsley, dill, garlic, and radish.
