It covers benefits resulting only from the area of ​​primary health care.

Both in the case of HED and NARC, you do not need a referral from your GP. It also does not affect your home address. You have the right to receive medical assistance throughout Poland.

You should seek night and holiday health care when:

  1. there are no symptoms that would suggest imminent health hazards or pose a risk of significant health damage,
  2. home remedies or prescription medications did not bring the expected results,
  3. you are worried that the disease will develop dangerously before your GP starts.

You may benefit from night and holiday healthcare when:

  1. the symptoms of a known chronic disease have worsening or worsening
  2. you suffer from a urinary tract infection and it is accompanied by a high fever (above 39 degrees Celsius), especially in children and the elderly,
  3. there are stomach pains that do not go away despite taking diastolic medications,
  4. have severe headaches that do not go away despite the use of painkillers,
  5. vomiting or severe diarrhea occurs, especially in young children and the elderly,
  6. there is urine, stool or gas retention
  7. the patient experiences severe pains in the lower back, spine, joints, limbs, etc.,
  8. mental disorders appeared, importantly, it is not about aggression or an attempted suicide.

When will you not get help for night and holiday health care?

  1. if you want to have a check-up in connection with the treatment started earlier,
  2. you need a prescription for medications you take constantly in connection with a chronic disease,
  3. standard certificate of current health condition,
  4. you need a referral to a specialist doctor.
