If you are planning a pregnancy, you need to carry out preventive vaccination in advance, this will minimize the risks of illness for the woman and her developing fetus.

The following vaccination schedule for non-immune women who are planning a pregnancy:

  • 3–6 months hepatitis B (1st vaccination) rubella
  • 3 months hepatitis B (1st or 2nd vaccination) possibly rubella, if not done before
  • 2 months hepatitis B (2nd or 3rd vaccination) polio (inactivated vaccine)
  • 1 month diphtheria-tetanus (ADS-M), if the scheduled vaccination date has come
  • influenza, despite the fact that the planned pregnancy coincides with the time of the annual incidence of influenza
  • one month after birth, hepatitis B (3rd vaccination, if the full course was not completed before pregnancy)
