Ripe, fresh blueberries are firm and deep in color, ranging from blue to dark garnet to almost purplish black. Blueberries are covered with a powdery, waxy protective film. The berries are translucent inside with tiny seeds.

These small berries are an excellent source of flavonoids, anthocyanidins are especially valuable – antioxidants that have an anti-inflammatory effect and maintain the elasticity of capillary walls. Keep your blueberries in a dry place, the presence of water will speed them up. Remove damaged berries to prevent the spread of rot.

Do not keep blueberries at room temperature for more than a day. Store the berries dry in an airtight container in the refrigerator where they can stay for up to a week. However, always remember the rule to eat berries as fresh as possible.   Attention
