The “real” age of mothers

Sleepless nights, pregnancies, extended days… having children is fantastic, but it’s also exhausting psychologically and physically. What a mother has never looked at herself in the mirror and said to herself: “Help, what a face! “And also:” Would I look younger if I hadn’t had children? American blogger Anna du blog responded with humor and derision to this question. She drew up a list of criteria which, added or subtracted, give the real age of mothers. The info was shared on the site

Anna is 106 years old. And you ? To your calculators!

Start by noting your actual age:

  • For each child born after 35 years, add 5
  • + 20, if you have more than three children
  • – 15, if one of your children is old enough to take care of the other two
  • + 2, for all the times you’ve been on a plane with a baby
  • + 7, if your child has already regurgitated directly into your mouth
  • – 10, if your child has slept before three months
  • + 3, if your favorite jeans are from the “maternity” range
  • + 5, if this quiz has exhausted you
  • + 6, if you drive a minivan
  • + 25, if you are unable to remember the last time you woke up after 8 a.m.
  • + 10, if you often wake up in the middle of the night because a child is crying
  • + 14, if you often have to stop making love because a child is calling / crying
  • + 12, if you use a breast pump at work
  • + 2, for all the times you had to breastfeed in a public toilet
  • – 10, for each holiday period when you left your children at home
  • – 7, if you pay someone to clean your house
  • + 3, for all the times when you frantically searched for your child’s blanket
