The harm and benefits of an infrared sauna: facts, tips and videos

😉 Hello dear reader! Thank you for choosing the article “The harm and benefits of an infrared sauna” on this site!

What is infrared sauna

The infrared (IR) sauna, unlike many of its well-known counterparts, cannot boast of high temperatures. Its principle of operation is based on other processes. More often it is a wooden cabin, in which infrared emitters are installed in a special way.

There is no steam here, but nonetheless, the health benefits of visiting such a facility are not diminished. When the wood is heated, phytoncides are released inside the cabin.

These substances help to strengthen immunity, activate various processes in the body, aimed at combating inflammation and other negative manifestations. Such a steam room lowers blood pressure: heat dilates blood vessels, and the pressure drops.

The maximum temperature in the infrared sauna does not exceed +65 degrees. The ideal temperature is + 45. The unique properties include the fact that the air in the sauna practically does not warm up. The human body in the cockpit is warmed up from the inside.

Many people think that there is no harmful radiation here, maybe this is a large microwave? No worries. Infrared waves in moderate doses are safe for humans, there is no radiation here.

Operating principle

An infrared steam room warms up the body to a depth of 5-6 cm. The body is evenly heated up to 37,5 degrees. Then the body turns on the defense mechanism, increases resistance to bacteria and viruses. Blood circulation is enhanced. Toxins are removed from the body along with sweat. The metabolic process improves.

Advantages

Thanks to this approach, the sauna can be visited by people with health problems and who, for a number of reasons, do not go to their usual steam rooms or hammam.

The unique properties of the sauna allow people of any age to use it. The compact dimensions of the infrared sauna allow it to be placed not only in professional beauty salons, but also in a compact private apartment or house.

Session from 15 to 25 minutes. does not take much time and besides, after the procedure, you do not need to run to the bathroom with cold water or look for a birch broom. Everything goes neatly and without unnecessary noise. People who love relaxation and tranquility will certainly like this approach.
