Each lady has her own image of ideal family happiness. This can be seen already at the stage of choosing a man for a serious relationship. Some of us, the representatives of the fair sex, choose a handsome man, for some, manners and the ability to care are important, for some, a sense of humor is important, etc. And many want everything and more, and here it is important to distinguish which selection criteria are the most necessary for building your happy family. If your husband is rich, but not outwardly interesting, will you survive? What if it’s the other way around? If he has flaws (and almost everyone has them) — which of them will you take calmly, and which will you not tolerate?
One of my friends told me that when she was still in search of her «soul mate», she wrote a list of qualities of her future husband. She took a piece of A4 paper, divided it into two columns, and made notes. In the first column, she wrote down the desirable positive qualities of her future husband, there were such important characteristics for her as high growth, responsibility, a positive attitude towards life and many others, in the second column there were not positive qualities that she could put up with. She added smoking, carelessness and something else to this list. I liked the idea of such lists. After all, if they are made up, then the girl “recognizes” the man suitable for her. If the lady didn’t think about it, then most likely she will be with someone who turns out to be more persistent with her desire to be together. Therefore, one of the first steps to starting a family with the right person is to think in advance with what kind of man you would be happy together. Or maybe even sit back, take a sheet of A4 and write a list of the qualities of the man that you, my reader, are dreaming about.
By the way, I met the girl who wrote such a list some time later. She was already a happily married lady. She told me with admiration about her relationship with her beloved, about all his virtues. And I was amazed at how what she was saying now is similar to what she dreamed about. Maybe it’s just a coincidence, but I’m sure that the accidents are not accidental.
This is the first feature of the director’s approach to relationships, to choose the right person. What does the director do when he selects the actors. Let’s think, does he know what kind of characters he needs for the film? I’m sure yes. Does he have a list of those qualities, external and internal, that an actor should possess for the main role? And again, yes. And this list is very similar to the one that girl wrote. Write your own lists, decide for yourself who you want to be happy with.
If you already love and are loved, if you have already met a man with whom you feel good together, then I congratulate you from the bottom of my heart. You can write a list of what you appreciate your loved one for, and then read and rejoice at how lucky you are. After all, someone only dreams about it, and you are already next to such a person!
