The coronavirus continues to be the main problem in the world. There are more and more outbreaks on the continents – and the cases of the disease, despite all the measures taken, are increasing every month.
This fall, the number of patients in Russia has also increased rapidly. Thousands of people fall victim to COVID-19 every day.
Denis Protsenko, the head physician of the most famous domestic “covid” hospital, said that today the institution is again fully occupied by patients, many of whom are being treated in the intensive care unit.
Protsenko is sure that he and other doctors will have to confront the coronavirus for quite some time. After all, the next wave of the disease will surely come.
According to the specialist, there are so many sick now, because the traditional season of respiratory diseases has begun. And in the spring everything will happen again, because the risk of catching a cold will increase again.
Denis Nikolaevich reassures: you should not be afraid of the third wave of coronavirus in Russia, which will be around March. It should already become “less violent and saturated in terms of the number of cases.”
“If an effective vaccine appears by this time, then, I think, by June we can get out of the epidemic,” said the head physician in an interview with Russia Today TV channel.
