La first outbreak of herpes is sometimes preceded or accompanied by headache, fever, fatigue, muscle pain, loss of appetite and swollen glands in the groin.

A recurrence genital herpes lasts an average of 5 to 10 days and can sometimes last up to 2 or 3 weeks. Here are the main symptoms:

• benefits warning signs, such as tenderness, tingling or itching in the genital area may indicate the onset of a seizure. Fever and headache can also occur. All of these symptoms are called a “prodrome”. In general, this occurs 1 or 2 days before the appearance of the vesicles;

• At the woman, blisters can form at the entrance to the vagina, on the vulva, on the buttocks, on the anus and on the cervix.

  At themen, they can appear on the penis, scrotum, buttocks, anus and thighs, and in the urethra;

• Urination can be painful when urine comes in contact with sores.
