Don’t be afraid of contrasts

Photo 1. The lamps for the bedside tables are matched exactly to the style of the interior as a whole. But they are different. This is a hint that the bedroom is for two, and each of them, with all their common views, may have their own preferences in the little things.

Photo 2. A small “work compartment” is organized in the middle of the wardrobe. The same metal racks were used to attach the countertops and shelves as for the rest of the storage system. Looking at the plan, you can estimate what the dimensions of the cabinet and sliding doors are.

Photo 3. Furniture finished with wenge veneer has laconic forms that refer to the aesthetics of the Japanese interior. A pendant LCD TV is used here, because with such a flat screen it will fit well on a dresser. The rest of the equipment was placed on a hanging shelf.

Photo 4. This extraordinarily comfortable table can be used in many ways. Equipped with roller wheels, it is suitable for breakfast and evening tea, it can hold an impressive set of cosmetics in its drawer, and, finally, it can be placed on a laptop computer.

Placing a bed in the middle of the room gives the bedroom a touch of splendor. The headboard is especially emphasized by a screen (made of plasterboard or MDF) fixed to a metal profile. The screen recedes from the wall by 5 cm, which made it possible to place a hidden backlight behind it. Dim, not striking, it can be used as a night light. The surface of the screen was covered with wallpaper of the same tone as on the other walls, but with different embossed ornaments. The floor, walls, curtains and carpet are in pearl gray tones. A contrasting wenge color was chosen for the furniture, and a bright turquoise for the accessories. It was he who gave the interior originality and even sophistication.

In pastel colors

Photo 1. Bedside lamps are mounted at the head of the bed. Placed on a metal base, the coffee table turns into a comfortable bedside table. This creates a comfortable place for those who like to read books in bed. Wooden boxes for small items and other accessories match the style and palette of the bedroom. It is the details that give the interior completeness and unique charm.

Photo 2. This table is very convenient for the bedroom. In addition to the main advantages, it is attracted by an ingenious detail – a hole in the table top, where a glass vase-test tube is inserted.

Photo 3. Carpeting in the work and dressing area, the same as in the bedroom, helps to maintain silence.

Photo 4. This storage system can be purchased off-the-shelf. The principle of its installation is simple: metal racks are installed between the floor and the ceiling, and shelves and drawers are already attached to them.

The rather large area of ​​the room made it possible to separate the workplace and the dressing room by erecting lightweight partitions. They can be constructed from drywall or tongue-and-groove blocks, whichever you prefer. The openings are closed with sliding doors. In the main room, there was a bed, several identical dressers in a row along the window, and two small wicker chairs. All furniture is finished with birch veneer, matching it – light beige carpet on the floor. Pale blue walls and cream colored textiles create a cozy and serene atmosphere in this bedroom. A convenient layout allows you to fully relax, at least for a short while leaving work problems “outside the door”.

Red means beautiful

Photo 1. A red and white chair with metal legs, a plastic bedside table and a light fit perfectly with the pop art style that reigns in this bedroom. A rod extends from the core of the cabinet handles, which can be used as a clothes hook. And when the need for it disappears, with a slight movement of the hand, it hides back into the cabinet handle.

Photo 2. Converting a desktop into a breakfast table is easy. In the morning it is enough to roll it up to the bed, for this purpose a table on wheels is specially used. Yes, you also need to make coffee and a couple of eggs. Mattress manufacturers do not recommend sitting on the bed often, especially on the edge. Even in expensive products, the edges are flattened under the weight of a person.

Photo 3. Note the wall light above the table. It consists of two parts, one of which can be hinged to direct the light in the desired direction.

Photo 4. Shallow hanging cabinets hold books and CDs. The square shape of the doors allows you to fantasize about the composition of their location on the wall.

Optimism and versatility are the components of this space. The designers have found an unbroken interior solution, using the classic combination of white and bright red colors and a comfortable, logical layout. A huge wardrobe completely occupied one of the walls. The rest of the room is divided between a bed and a work area. The latter has a very small area, as it is formed of wall cabinets and a narrow mobile table, on which there is only space for a laptop. The “riot of color” was achieved simply: cabinet doors and countertops were decorated with glossy self-adhesive film – orange and red. The result is the effect of a varnish coating.
