What methods can be used to make the skin hydrated, smooth and soft again?

Irritated face – help!

Too much sunbathing during holidays, too low a sunscreen, long hours at work in an air-conditioned room, improper care are all reflected on our facial skin. The skin becomes dry, tense, itches or itches, redness or discoloration appear on it. Now all that’s left is to care for further damage and regenerate.

Soothing tonics and more…

Burning and tense, dry skin requires urgent help. Cool it down quickly and start hydrating it. The first rescue board after a too intense stay on the beach can be a cold compress and a good cream containing allantoin. Allantoin has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antifungal properties. It perfectly soothes irritations, protecting the skin at the same time. Self-made soothing tonics may prove to be an excellent home rescue kit.

  • Chamomile tonic – it is enough to brew a bag of chamomile in a glass and wash your face with the resulting infusion several times a day. This tonic is also great for acne and blemishes.
  • Licorice tonic – a few scoops of grated, powdered licorice root should be poured with a glass of water and boiled for a few minutes. Wash your face with the strained, cooled mixture in the morning and evening.
  • Linden flower tonic – brew a linden bag in a glass, add lemon juice. Use on face twice a day.

Cooling and soothing contained in cucumber?

In the case of irritated facial skin, cucumber may be beneficial. Its patches are enough to put on the changed places. Cucumber has a toning effect, effectively soothes and has regenerating properties. Any redness and burning will help to eliminate the oatmeal mask with the addition of milk. Pumpkin has a soothing effect as well. Just rub it on a grater and apply it to your face. These are home-made, excellent ways to alleviate any ailments left after sunny holidays or air conditioning, which is unfavorable for our skin.
