A skin cleansing diet is the right answer to skin problems. They are a consequence of accumulated toxins in the body. If other organs – lungs and kidneys – do not work properly, all harmful substances begin to be excreted from the body through the skin. Therefore, it is worth revising your diet in order to remove such a load from the skin.

About 20 years ago, an American doctor John Pegano created a skin cleansing diet. Gut malfunctions, according to Pegano, are caused by alcohol, caffeine, high amounts of carbohydrates, antibiotics, hormones and corticosteroids, as well as harmful substances that are present in many foods and drinks today. Infectious diseases can also be the cause. However, people who eat a lot of fatty or fried foods, smoke, are often nervous and suffer from constipation may also be interested in the diet.

For which the Pegano diet is separately praised, it is because, like the chemical diet of Osama Hamdiy, it belongs to the category of complex weight loss methods. So, it includes the stages:

  • internal cleansing;

  • cleansing and nutritious diet;

  • the use of herbal teas;

  • therapeutic recovery of the spine;

  • use for cleansing medicinal and external agents.

However, despite the fact that the diet was developed by a doctor, it is worth consulting with your doctor before going through all its stages.

Skin Cleansing Diet – Steps

The first stage is internal cleansing:

  • how to cleanse the body using colon hydrotherapy or enemas;

  • Sit on a grape, apple or citrus mono-diet for 3 days, you can use a five-day multifruit;

  • in the future – monitor the stool and take 2-3 times a day for a teaspoon of olive oil.

The second and third steps are a cleansing but nutritious diet and herbal teas:

  • water – 6-8 glasses a day;

  • lemon juice diluted with water with the addition of honey;

  • freshly squeezed fruit juices (you can use grapefruits, oranges, pears, grapes and pineapples);

  • freshly squeezed vegetable juices (you should use carrots, beets, parsley and onions);

  • Herbal cleansing teas (Pegano strongly recommends brewing chamomile, slippery elm bark, and safflower)

  • fruit compotes.

At the second stage, you should not consume tomato juice, coffee, alcohol, carbonated drinks, sweets, fried, smoked foods, ice cream and milkshakes, chips, fast food and sweets.

As for the menu, this is the case here. Recommended:

  • fresh vegetables (turnips, beets, broccoli, etc.);

  • fresh fruits (apples, peaches, apricots, plums);

  • foods high in vitamin B (wheat germ, oats, barley, brewer’s yeast, soy milk, rye bread, egg yolks, honey);

  • almonds and almond milk;

  • fish, lamb and chicken meat (at least 4 times a week);

  • cow and goat milk, yogurt, kefir, yogurt, white cheeses and buttermilk (their share in the daily diet is 20-30%);

  • bran;

  • porridge on water from millet, buckwheat;

  • whole wheat bread.

The fourth stage – therapeutic spine restoration – can mislead us. Like, what does the spine have to do with it?
