Single father: how to live without a mom

Greg Wickhurst, the father of five-year-old Izzy, never knew how to weave braids. What for? After all, Greg himself has no hair. But there is an impressive bald spot. Until Izzy was three years old, dad did not even suspect that he would still have to master the tricky science of hair styling.

When the girl was two years old, her parents divorced. Izzy spends most of his time with his dad. Willy-nilly, he had to pack his daughter to the kindergarten. And then Greg faced an unexpected difficulty: he could not collect Izzy’s hair even in a regular ponytail. Hands do not grow from there? No, a loving dad could not accept this. After all, his girl is his princess! Therefore, the man went to the courses of cosmetologists, where he was taught to do hairstyles.

And then a discovery awaited him. It turned out that Greg is not just a caring dad, but a real talent when it comes to styling and hairstyles!

“I instantly managed to make a simple braid, then a fishtail braid, then a French one. I learned how to make all kinds of tails: regular, horse, inverted, ”boasted Greg.

Dad was so proud that now he knows how to make his Izzy the most beautiful styling that he even created a Facebook page where he uploads photos of his creations. Greg’s pictures inspire more than 120 thousand people, and videos with life hacks on braiding are gaining millions of views.

“Izzy keeps going. She can even put a garbage bag on her head and look great, “- a little embarrassed, Greg responds to the compliments.

Other dads, including loners, even ask him for advice.

“The best advice I can give is to enjoy every moment of your fatherhood. Dirty diapers, store tantrums, sleepless nights, illness and anxiety are all priceless. Because nothing lasts forever, ”says Greg.
