You can come up with a theme for the quest yourself. But if time is short, you can use ready-made scripts. Any quest requires a lot of preparation and adult participation. It will be difficult for schoolchildren to understand all the details.
Even toddlers can carry out birthday quests at home

- Search for a gift or treasure. This option is liked by both kids and schoolchildren.
- Investigating the mystery. To do this, you need to collect the necessary information and analyze it.
- Search for an exit. The main task is to find the key and get out of the locked room. The room can symbolize a bunker, a cabin, a carriage, a sinking submarine. First of all, you need to think over the design of the room so that it can convey the appropriate atmosphere.
- Role-playing games. The main thing here is communication and exchange of information.
In each quest you need to find and collect things in order to use them for their intended purpose and achieve the goal. Such games require perseverance, attention, patience, ingenuity and logic.
How to compose a quest for a child correctly
The quest should not contain even the slightest elements of violence, because this greatly traumatizes the psyche. It is also necessary to avoid strong emotions, conflicts and passions. Be sure to decide on the technique of the game:
- accurately state the goal;
- formulate rules and restrictions;
- make a plan of levels or tasks;
- make a plan for tips.
Don’t make a lot of levels. For the first time, 7-8 is enough. For a preschooler, the number of levels must be reduced even more, and the scenario itself must be simplified. Each level is allocated about 5-10 minutes, so the total playing time is from 1 to 2 hours. Children of primary school age cannot concentrate for a long time, therefore, tasks on logic must be alternated with physical exercises.
The difference between quests for boys and girls
Little gentlemen most of all like sports, detective, pirate, spy games, because in them they can show their masculine qualities. They also love thinking tasks, as most of them have an analytical mindset. Little ladies are more into fairytale adventures, musical puzzles, culinary duels, stories about animals and nature.
