Crab sticks burst into our culinary life like a whirlwind and instantly gained popularity. Indeed, it is a versatile product for preparing a wide variety of salads and snacks. They can be paired with almost anything due to their neutral taste, and their affordability and ease of use make them an indispensable product both on the holiday and on the everyday table. Salads with crab sticks and apples are especially tasty and unusual.

Puff salad with apples is a hit of the festive table, especially since the simplest and most inexpensive ingredients can be used in it. First, prepare the marinade: mix water, vinegar and black pepper. Chop the onions finely and marinate them for 20-25 minutes. While the onions are cooking, do other foods. Boil the eggs hard-boiled (about 10 minutes) and cover with cold water to make them easier to peel. Boil the potatoes in their skins, let them cool and peel them. Then grate it on a coarse grater and put it in a salad bowl – this will be the first layer. Brush it with mayonnaise. Put the pickled and squeezed onions on top of the potatoes. Peel the apple, also grate on a coarse grater and sprinkle with lemon juice so that it does not darken. Place a layer of apple on top of the onion and brush with mayonnaise. Cut the package of crab sticks into small cubes – this will be the next layer of our salad. It should also be sprinkled with mayonnaise. Finally, finely grate the eggs and garnish the salad. You can additionally decorate the dish with herbs, figures from crab sticks or eggs.

Instead of vinegar, you can pickle onions in lemon juice, so its harsh taste will disappear.

Daily salads should not be time-consuming, but at the same time they should be tasty, beautiful and varied. A versatile salad made from simple and affordable ingredients is perfect for this. Dice crab sticks, eggs, apples. Add corn, chopped greens, salt and season with mayonnaise.
