Rosacea is of concern because it can cause very visible lesions on the face. We must not neglect the psychological consequences in people who are affected. On the other hand, the famous “brandy nose” (rhinophyma) is rather rare and affects almost exclusively men. The medical treatments are quite effective and a consultation with a specialist doctor is advised.
