Ingredients Shrimp Salad
Far Eastern shrimp (meat) | 1000.0 (gram) |
grapefruit | 2.0 (piece) |
mayonnaise | 200.0 (gram) |
Put the freshly frozen shrimps in a saucepan and pour over boiling water (do not boil). Then peel them and break into pieces ~ 1 cm. Peel the ripe AVOCADO fruit (remove the skin very thinly, if the fruit is really ripe, the skin separates very well) cut into cubes. A couple of large pink grapefruits must be qualitatively cleaned of films (the quality of cleaning is a guarantee that the salad will not turn out to be bitter), then disassemble it into small pieces by hand. Put all the ingredients obtained in a salad bowl, season with a pink cocktail sauce (you can also use a “HEINZ” bottle). Stir gently. Chill before serving. The salad is suitable as an appetizer on a beautiful fish table. If the salad is used as an independent dish, it is nice to serve lightly toasted French bread toast, butter, a little chilled white wine with it.

- Vitamin C participates in redox reactions, the functioning of the immune system, promotes the absorption of iron. Deficiency leads to loose and bleeding gums, nosebleeds due to increased permeability and fragility of the blood capillaries.
- Vitamin E possesses antioxidant properties, is necessary for the functioning of the gonads, heart muscle, is a universal stabilizer of cell membranes. With a deficiency of vitamin E, hemolysis of erythrocytes and neurological disorders are observed.
- Iodine participates in the functioning of the thyroid gland, providing the formation of hormones (thyroxine and triiodothyronine). It is necessary for the growth and differentiation of cells of all tissues of the human body, mitochondrial respiration, regulation of transmembrane sodium and hormone transport. Insufficient intake leads to endemic goiter with hypothyroidism and a slowdown in metabolism, arterial hypotension, growth retardation and mental development in children.
- Cobalt is part of vitamin B12. Activates enzymes of fatty acid metabolism and folic acid metabolism.
- Copper is a part of enzymes with redox activity and involved in iron metabolism, stimulates the absorption of proteins and carbohydrates. Participates in the processes of providing the tissues of the human body with oxygen. The deficiency is manifested by disorders in the formation of the cardiovascular system and skeleton, the development of connective tissue dysplasia.
- Chrome participates in the regulation of blood glucose levels, enhancing the effect of insulin. Deficiency leads to decreased glucose tolerance.
