Method of preparation
Finely chop 3 large or 4 small oranges (together with the peel), cover with 50 grams of citric acid and refrigerate for a day. Pour a liter of water and boil over low heat for 30 minutes. Cool, mix with a mixer until smooth. Add a kilogram of sugar, pour over seven liters of water and, stirring occasionally, bring to a boil.
