Nutrition for worms

General description of the disease

Worms – helminthiasis, characterized by the migration of larvae in the human body, with the subsequent development of sexually mature individuals in the intestine, which is clinically manifested by allergy and abdominal syndrome.

Varieties:

According to their types, worms are divided into two main groups: flat and nematodes. Flat, in turn, are divided into trematodes and tapeworms. Based on the characteristics of the biological structure, worms are divided into geohelminths, contact helminths and biohelminths.

Causes:

As a rule, worms enter the human body in the form of eggs, larvae. This usually occurs when eating vegetables, fish, meat, fruits with laid eggs of parasites, from contact with domestic and street animals, infection in the water when swimming in a lake or river is possible, non-observance of basic standards of personal hygiene.

Symptoms:

Signs of a person’s presence of helminths differ for the chronic and acute phases. The damage to the body is manifested as follows: fever – about 37º for a long time, a feeling of lethargy, weakness, deterioration in working capacity, weight loss, anemia, impaired appetite, bad stool, food intolerance, skin rash, indigestion, enlarged liver and spleen.

Useful products for worms

The principle of useful products used in case of damage to the body by worms is determined by their ability to contribute to the creation of an intolerable environment for parasites, encouraging them to leave their comfortable habitat, that is, “anthelmintic”. These products include:

Chanterelles – according to recent studies, contain chinomannose – a special substance that destroys the strong shell of the eggs of worms, and suppresses the vital activity of the larvae of parasites.

A similar anthelmintic drug, chitinmannose polysaccharide, also contains the following mushrooms – larch tinder fungus and shiitake.

Another compound, α-hederin, is found in the male fern. A decoction of this plant will help get rid of worms.

Many types of wormwood will become a useful plant in the fight against helminths. The santonin contained in it makes the parasites move intensively, detaching themselves from the intestinal walls. Wormwood infusion should be taken together with a laxative.

The flower baskets of citrine wormwood are distinguished by a special concentration of santonin.

Of plant products, good anthelmintic properties are:

Sowing garlic, Chinese cloves, strawberries, apricot pits.

A good, completely harmless way to get rid of worms is the juice of a ripe melon grown without chemicals.

Raw carrots and their seeds have beneficial properties; as a preventive measure, dried lemon seeds are taken, which must be chewed a couple of pieces a day.

The seeds of an ordinary watermelon, especially pumpkin, also have an anthelmintic effect.

When carrying out treatment, especially medication, it is important to adhere to the correct diet, high in protein.

Recommended use:

Fermented milk products – kefir, whey, fermented baked milk. They contain milk proteins that facilitate the work of the liver, remove fats from it. At the same time, you need to consume a little olive oil and butter, which enhance the lyotropic effect of milk proteins.

It is extremely important when eating to get more fiber, which has a beneficial effect on the functioning of the intestines. It is found in sufficient quantities in foods such as wholemeal bread, fruits, vegetables. The diet also includes foods containing vitamins A, C, B. These are liver, especially sea fish, egg yolk, cream, fish oil, peas, walnuts, peanuts, heart. The fruits of sea buckthorn, wild rose, black currant, red pepper contain vitamin C in large quantities.

Dangerous and harmful products for worms

When infected with worms, you should refrain from eating a large amount of products containing mainly carbohydrates, which, by fermentation processes, impede the work of the intestines affected by parasites. This applies to cereals rich in starch, flour, potatoes, pasta.

In the treatment of helminthiasis, alcohol and tobacco are excluded, since they contribute to the destruction of groups of vitamins and amino acids, negating the beneficial properties of foods used in the diet.

To reduce the risk of infection with worms, it is necessary to strictly observe hygiene requirements, eat only well-cooked and fried fish and meat, thoroughly rinse and pour boiling water over vegetables and fruits, regularly carry out preventive dehumidification of pets, and periodically see a doctor.
