New York celebrates the Spanish Tapa route ‘Spain’s Tapas Trail’

From July 14 to 21, Spanish cuisine approaches the Big Apple

The organization ICEX Spain export and investments, organizes this event with the mission of helping to spread Spanish gastronomy to the inhabitants and visitors of the American city of New York.

During those days, passers-by in the busy New York streets will be able to taste the best culinary creations of the Spanish restaurants in the city in the best version of our “Typical Spanish”,  

the LID

and his faithful companion,

the wine.

The asociación Foods & Wines from Spain belonging to the Spanish economic office of commerce of the city of skyscrapers, together with companies and entities Freixenet, Forever Cheese, Olives from Spain,  and the designations of origin of the wines of Rioja and Rueda, collaborate and sponsor the initiative to maintain and increase the gastronomic culture of our country and in addition to be able to increase the ratio of exports of Spanish products to the always listed public of the United States of North America

The master craftsmen of Tapas

There will be 25 places that throughout the week will offer their guests the possibility of trying a special Tapa, developed exclusively for the Spain´s Tapas Trail, along with a glass of Spanish wine, all for a bill with the face of Alexander Hamilton (The $ 10)

The restaurants that participate in this second edition of the Route are:

100 Montaditos, Andanada 141, Buceo 95, Bikinis, Cadaqués, Café Riazor, Tasting, Donostia, El Born, El Cid, El Colmado, El Porrón, El Quinto Pino, La Churrería, La Nacional, La Paella, Marbella, Melibea, Sala One Nine, Socarrat East, Socarrat Nolita, Socarrat Paella Bar, Solera, Tertulia and Toro.

To encourage New Yorkers to consume, and live a “Spanish Experience“, Technology will be a fundamental ally of this edition. The organizers have prepared a gift of

a bottle of Virgin Olive oil
