Natural antifungals

The reputation of garlic is well established, the list of its properties is impressive. In addition to its fungicidal properties, it is an antiseptic, an antibiotic, an antihypertensive, an antispasmodic, an intestinal and pulmonary disinfectant to name only these properties. Apply the crushed garlic bulb directly to the skin. Warning: on irritated skin, this can cause a burning sensation. Garlic can also be found in capsule form, in drugstores.

Grapefruit seed extract

Grapefruit seed extract is one of the best natural antibacterials out there. It also acts on yeasts and fungi, making it a valuable natural fungicide. It is applied pure, directly to the affected area (cutaneous or plantar yeast infection, nail fungus or vaginal yeast infection). No need to abuse it, it is effective even in small quantities: 2 to 3 drops per day.

Henna

It is known as a beautifying treatment for the hair, for its use as a body paint in Eastern countries. What we know less is that the henna is also an antifungal because of one of its components: lawsone. It is applied in the form of a poultice on plantar mycosis and nail fungus.

Oriental recipe for a poultice henna based
