Lifting dumbbells — technique exercises:

  1. Take a dumbbell in each hand and stand straight with arms extended at the sides with a slight bend at the elbow, keep your backs straight. This will be your initial position.
  2. During the exhalation effort of the shoulder muscles, lift the dumbbells up to chest level. Your movements should guide the elbows. Hold the dumbbells for 1-2 seconds in the upper position.
  3. On the exhale, lower the dumbbells.

Be careful with the choice of weight as if not properly exercise the possible asymmetry in muscle growth and of a shoulder injury.
