Unlike America, on the Japanese islands there is an extremely small percentage of overweight residents, although in the technological, everyday and general standard of living, Japan is in no way inferior to the highly developed countries of America with their fast food (hamburgers, hot dogs, cheeseburgers, etc.). The main reason for this situation is the consumption of low-calorie foods (primarily the restriction on carbohydrates and fats). On its basis, a highly effective, but specific for Russia, Japanese diet was compiled.
Unlike other diets (for example, the chocolate diet), the Japanese diet is not fast – but it is more balanced and after the diet, the body significantly increases the effect of losing weight – up to several years – in cases where the cause was impaired metabolism. In the process of carrying out a diet for weight loss, the maximum weight loss will be four kilograms per week (and throughout the entire diet 7-8 kilograms). Like most other diets (for example, the apple diet), the Japanese diet requires adherence to a number of strict restrictions: pure carbohydrates (any confectionery, sugar, alcohol, etc.) and additionally salt in any form should be completely excluded from the diet (all kinds of brines are excluded from the diet).
The minimum duration of the Japanese diet is 13 days (two weeks), the maximum is 13 weeks.
