In her youth, the star was a fairly large girl, so she constantly sat on strict diets, or even starved altogether. And when intense stage loads were added to this, Ponarovskaya began to feel bad on a regular basis.
Once, while working on the play “Orpheus and Eurydice”, the actress fainted in hunger.
Colleagues immediately took the celebrity to the hospital, where it became known that she not only lost consciousness, but fell into a coma against the background of a painful shock. As it turned out, during the performance, Irina Vitalievna began to get stones from the kidneys – and she, of course, did not suspect about it.

“I saw that I was lying, and then I see how they were carrying me. And then I fly, fly out into the light – and such an endless beauty, the feeling that everything is flooded with gold, but there is no light source. It was very easy for me, I felt like I was like a soap bubble. The resuscitators then told me that when I woke up, when my heart was beating, I asked “why”, ”recalls the artist.
After what happened, Ponarovskaya quickly found the answer to her question: “In order to become slim, beautiful, healthy, to live up to her age with a healthy body and understand what is important in this life.” Today Irina Vitalievna carefully monitors her appearance and well-being.
