At home, you can prepare anti-inflammatory masks that will soothe irritated skin, help it heal faster and act as natural antiseptics. Thanks to the use of these products, you can get rid of acne, blackheads and red inflammation on the face in the form of individual spots and bumps.

The main rules for the care of inflamed skin

First, minimize your consumption of industrially processed foods. Diet by including more fresh fruits, vegetables, and greens in your diet.

They contain harmful chemicals and sugars that negatively affect the skin.

Second, drink as much water as possible – at least 6 glasses a day. Lack of fluid in the body is one of the causes of inflammation on the skin. Third, try to reduce the amount of salt you use – it negatively affects the condition of the skin.

Homemade mask recipes for inflamed skin and inflammation on the face

To treat inflamed skin, mix 10 grams of yeast with kefir so that you get a mass of mushy consistency, and add a teaspoon of plantain leaf juice. Apply the mixture to the face with inflamed skin. Wash off after 15-20 minutes, first with warm, then cool water and pat dry your face with a towel.

Chamomile mask is an excellent remedy for skin prone to inflammation. To prepare it, pour 100 grams of chamomile flowers with pharmaceutical water until the consistency of sour cream. Cool, put in cheesecloth, and cover your face, having previously lubricated the skin with a moisturizer. After 20 minutes, remove the mask and rinse your face with warm water.

This remedy helps not only in the fight against inflammation, it also whitens the skin well.

In the fight against inflamed acne on the skin, a herbal mask is great.

To prepare it, you will need:

  • chamomile flowers
  • Linden blossom
  • elderberry flowers
  • fresh pine shoots
  • 1 tablespoon crushed almond kernels
  • 1 teaspoon starch
  • ½ teaspoon honey
  • 2 cup water

So, in equal amounts, mix chamomile, lime blossom, elder flowers and pine shoots. Then pour 2 tablespoons of this collection with cold water, boil for 5 minutes, cool and strain. Now mix 3 tablespoons of broth, crushed almond kernels, starch and honey. Apply warm gruel to the inflamed skin of the face and keep it for 30 minutes, then wash first with warm, then cool water.

A protein mask can remove inflammation and whiten the skin

Whisk the white of 1 egg and add 1 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice. Apply the mixture on your face for 20 minutes, then wash off with warm water.

A calendula-based mask has a beneficial effect on inflamed skin: pour 4 tablespoons of crushed calendula inflorescences with 200 milliliters of boiling water, stir until gruel is obtained, heat to 60-70 degrees and cool slightly. Apply to cleansed face for 15–20 minutes, then rinse with warm water and lubricate with moisturizer.
