Infertile woman gets pregnant thanks to yoga

44-year-old Briton Linda Vezzoli is confident that the change in the way of thinking from negative to positive played a decisive role.

When Linda turned 30, she finally and irrevocably understood that she was ready to become a mother. Her husband was in seventh heaven with happiness: he also wanted children for a long time. Nine years ago, in 2011, the couple began trying to conceive. Linda was 35 years old.

“I know this is a bit too much for a first pregnancy. But she never treated her age as an obstacle. Moreover, I managed to get pregnant after a couple of months of attempts, ”says Linda.

It was possible, but it was not possible to save the pregnancy. Linda had an early miscarriage at six weeks.

“The doctor said it was okay. This happens to many, it’s okay, we have to try again, ”the woman recalls. She admitted: by that time, something had already changed in her head, she had already tried on the image of a mother. But all hopes were dashed.

A year later, Linda became pregnant again. And the scenario repeated itself again: bleeding, miscarriage. The doctor assured her again that it was normal, there were no problems with the body. But another specialist discovered she had an autoimmune thyroid disorder. Because of him, the body rejected the embryo over and over again, mistaking it for a disease.

Linda was prescribed treatment, there were so many side effects that not only the child did not want to, but also to live. In addition, the obsessive desire to conceive destroyed her relationship with her husband.

“I lived from cycle to cycle. When my period started, I got depressed. And after I was overwhelmed by the desire to try to get pregnant again, ”says the woman.

From stress, her hair fell out, and due to problems with the thyroid gland, Linda began to gain weight. Then the couple decided to try IVF – they managed to get a quota. But attempts did not give anything – the embryos did not take root.

After these failures, Linda realized that she was close to a breakdown.

“I had to pull myself together, regain control of my life and my mind. It was impossible to allow the desire to get pregnant to subjugate my whole life, ”she decided.

No sooner said than done. The woman took care of herself: she changed her diet according to medical recommendations for her illness, added more fish and vegetables to the diet, started taking dietary supplements and doing yoga. The latter surprised her herself: yoga not only helped her keep herself in shape, but also improved her emotional background.

“I fought negative thinking. Previously, my head was spinning all the time: “You will never have children” … Thanks to meditation and yoga, everything has changed, “says Linda.

And positive thinking worked – after just four months of her new life, she realized that she was pregnant. Neither IVF nor doctors were needed. Linda waited for the six-week term with horror: suddenly this pregnancy would end in miscarriage. But no, nothing happened. Even toxicosis was a joy to her, because it meant that the child was still alive, everything was fine with him.

In due time, Linda gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. The healthy and strong baby was named Maya.

“There is always hope. It turned out to be enough for me to start taking care of myself, to master my mind and body, ”says the young mother.
