How to show and hide sheet tabs in Excel

If screen space is limited, you can hide some parts of the Excel window, such as the Ribbon and sheet tabs. We’ve already shown you how to hide the Ribbon, but this article will show you how to hide sheet tabs.

First step – open the tab File (Queue).

In the menu on the left, click Parameters (Options).

On the left side of the dialog box Excel options (Excel Options) click Additionally (Advanced).

Scroll to section Book display options (Display options for this workbook) and uncheck the option Show sheet tabs (Show sheet tabs).
