It would seem that it is difficult to eat a cupcake. However, these delicious desserts are not so simple. Not everyone manages to eat it and not smear the nose in the cream. Usually, eating a cupcake is like a fight – either you (eat it), or he – you (smears).
And if you still perfectly mastered the art of eating creamy cupcakes, then, anyway, you hardly ever enjoyed the full taste of this cake – after all, at first you had to eat only cream, and then only dough.
There is a convenient and neat method that evenly distributes the amount of cream in the cupcake. It is also called “gentleman’s” or “hamburger”. This method works with any standard cupcake, but will not work with a filled cupcake.
1. Hold the cupcake in the palm of your hand with one hand. The bottom of the cupcake should be in the palm of your non-dominant hand. Your hand should not move to prevent the cupcake from falling.
2. Use your other hand to break the cupcake in half. Lift the center of the cupcake off the bottom with your dominant hand. Grasp the cupcake with your fingers while gently twisting it. Continue until the cupcake breaks in two.
3. Remember it is easier to use a knife to cut the cupcake in half. This can only be done by placing the cake on a plate and separating the top from the bottom with a knife. A plastic knife or any other kitchen knife will work.
4. Turn the bottom of the cupcake over and place it on top. Turn the bottom of the cupcake upside down so that the notch is at the top.
5. Press firmly so that the two halves are connected with the glaze.
6. Eat cupcake by biting off as if you were eating a sandwich or hamburger. At the same time, watch out for the icing so that it does not spoil between the two layers of the cake.
