On New Year’s and Christmas, I really want to surprise relatives and guests with something new and unusual. A good hostess usually takes care not only of the signature recipes, but also of the table decor. We offer several original design solutions.
1. Decide on a color. The main shades of the New Year this year were considered to be red, orange and gold (read more HERE). And this is for the best! These tones work well with traditional white, silver and green.
2. Select a style. Here we advise you to proceed from the interior of the room. If, for example, you will celebrate the holidays in a wooden country house, use decor elements in the vignette or eco style. And for a loft-style apartment, modern designer decorations are suitable.
Then it’s up to the little: buy a tablecloth or napkins, dishes, candles and other table decorations.
It advises to start decorating the table from the center, where the main dish or New Year’s composition of branches will be located, to the edges. Also, never ignore the little things. A small sprig of spruce lying by the cutlery can become the main feature of your festive table.
