In our example, we will multiply Units (Number of units) per Unit cost (Unit cost), and then display the total in the column Total (Total). To multiply two numbers from the cells to the left of the current one, enter the following text in the input field Formula (Formula):

=PRODUCT(LEFT)

Select the desired option from the dropdown list Number format (Number Format) to specify the form of the result of the calculation.

Most likely, the default formula will be “=SUM(ABOVE)«.
