How to cook silver carp deliciously?

Pickled Silver Carp Recipe

Ingredients: – 1 medium-sized silver carcass; – salt; – bay leaf; – vinegar 6%; – vegetable oil; – 3 onions; – allspice peas; – 2 bunches of parsley.

Clean and gut the silver carp. Cut off the head, tail, and fins – they can be used to make rich fish soup. Cut the fish lengthwise into two equal-sized halves and then into 2 cm wide pieces. Place them in a deep saucepan and sprinkle well with salt. Leave it on for 3 hours and then wash off the salt under water.

Add onion, parsley, cut into half rings to the silver carp and pour over the vinegar so that it covers all the fish. Marinate for 2,5 hours and drain. Place coarsely chopped parsley, a few bay leaves, and allspice in a saucepan. Cover with vegetable oil. After 3 hours, stir the fish, transfer to a glass dish and refrigerate. Soak for a few more hours and serve with gentle mashed potatoes.

Silver carp baked with vegetables

Ingredients: – 1 medium-sized silver carp; – 1 fresh tomato; – 100 ml of tomato juice; – 2 onions; – 2 potatoes; – 150 g of hard cheese; – 2 tbsp. tablespoons of sour cream; – salt and black pepper to taste; – vegetable oil.

Prepare silver carp as described above. Cut into 4 equal pieces. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Leave to soak in the spices for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, peel the onions, potatoes and tomatoes. Cut the vegetables into slices. Brush a baking dish with a little vegetable oil, add a layer of pre-salted potatoes, then onions, and finally silver carp slices. Arrange the tomato slices on top. Pour tomato juice over everything and brush with sour cream. Place in an oven preheated to 180 ° C and cook for 30-40 minutes, until the potatoes are tender. Then sprinkle with grated cheese and bake for another 10 minutes.
