How long to cook green buckwheat?

Green buckwheat can be eaten raw by simply soaking in water – then it will take about 7-8 hours. To cook it, after boiling water, you need to keep the pan with green buckwheat for 15 minutes.

How to cook green buckwheat

You will need – buckwheat, water

1. Before cooking, the cereals must be carefully sorted out, choosing vegetable debris.

2. Under running cold water, rinse the groats several times. This will make it crumbly after cooking.

3. Pour green buckwheat into a saucepan.

4. Pour water into a container with cereals so that it disappears by 2-3 centimeters.

5. Add salt, per 1 cup of green buckwheat – half a teaspoon of salt.

6. Put a saucepan with cereals over low heat and bring to a boil.

7. Cook cereals for 15 minutes.

Bulgarian pepper – 1 piece

Zucchini – 1 piece

How to cook green buckwheat with vegetables

1. Pour 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil into a deep frying pan and heat over low heat.

2. Add washed green buckwheat, chopped tomatoes, bell peppers, zucchini, carrots, onions to the container and mix well.

3. Fry for 5-7 minutes over high heat, stirring occasionally.

4. Pour 2 cups of water into a frying pan so that cereals and vegetables disappear by 2-3 centimeters, and bring to a boil.

5. Pour half a teaspoon of salt into the pan, stir, cover and cook for 25 minutes.

6. When the time has elapsed, open the lid and pour the chopped greens into the frying pan.

7. Stir well and can already be served.
