What can be used to formalize the entrance to the housing:
- a wreath in all possible variations – from branches, flowers, their imitation, fabrics or balloons, Christmas tree decorations or a glowing cord;
- a garland laid out in the form of a certain figure or framing the entrance around the door jamb (arch, opening);
- posters or fabric with various images;
- elegant figures and stickers;
- magnets on a metal sheet;
- temporary painting.

Thus, there is enough room for imagination – you just need to decide how much time and labor the homeowners are willing to spend on the process of decorating the entrance to it.
How to dress up the front door with your own hands: use the material at hand
The creation of wreaths – this is the most common type of door decoration – requires a base on which the elements of the product are fixed. As such, you can use wire, corrugated pipe, cardboard and wood, tree branches, even a gymnastic hoop, if the size of the doorway allows it.
Fastening the elements of the wreath to the base is carried out using tape, threads, wire and different types of adhesives
The fixing method depends on how long you plan to use the jewelry and whether its base will be reused.
How to decorate the front door for the New Year?
Given the specifics of the holiday, branches of spruce, pine, yew, holly, mistletoe are useful for decoration. Christmas decorations and garlands, candies and nuts in a bright wrapper, cones and red berries will be more than appropriate. Artificial snow, airbrushing in white or silver colors using stencils will come in handy. You can also recall the technique of the past century – wash-off drawings with toothpaste. Bows, “rain” and diodes laid out in the form of thematic ornaments will also look great.
