Holland has learned to grow “cocktail” watermelons

The Dutch again delight with interesting agricultural innovations. So, our readers will probably remember about pink and purple potatoes grown in Holland. And here’s a fresh new product!

It was recently presented by the vegetable growing company Nunhems (Holland) – tiny watermelons. They are called Kisy and the adjective “cocktail” has already stuck behind them, because due to their compactness, such watermelons can become an ideal form for a cocktail.

And the content too! Judge for yourself, the fruits have a weight of only 600 g to 900 g, the peel is strong, there are no seeds in them and the pulp is delicious.

“The maximum sugar level in such a watermelon reaches 12. This guarantees the sweetness necessary for the quality of the cocktail, and at the same time meets the requirements of consumers for a healthy diet!” – says the representative of the company Hans Driessen.

“You can easily eat this watermelon with a spoon, as if you were tasting ice cream,” he adds.

Kisy will be marketed under the slogan “Easy to eat”. Manufacturers are confident that their new product will be a success.
