Gromeluronephritis

General description of the disease

The term “thrommeluronephritis” literally translates as glomerular nephritis… This is a bilateral kidney disease, in which the vessels of the glomeruli are affected, while the inflammation spreads to other parts of the nephron.[3]… The inflamed glomeruli gradually die off and are replaced by connective tissue. Pathology can proceed in the form of an acute or acquired form with remissions and repeated exacerbations. The disease is often chronic and can lead to kidney failure.

People of any age group can suffer from thrommeluronephritis, but, as a rule, this disease is typical for patients of childhood, young and middle age, under 40 years of age.

Types of thrommeluronephritis

Depending on the course of the disease and clinical manifestations, thrommeluronephritis is classified into:

  • nephrotic – a fairly common form. It is characterized by hypertension, a reduced amount of daily urine and swelling. A general analysis of urine shows an increased protein content;
  • hypertensive occurs in 20% of cases. This type of thrommeluronephritis is also characterized by increased pressure, however, at the same time, patients have nocturnal urge to urinate and the daily amount of urine is also increased;
  • hematuric thrommeluronephritis is quite rare, no more than in 5% of the total number of patients. A general urinalysis shows an increased number of red blood cells, and the urine turns red or pink;
  • latent the species accounts for about 45% of the total number of sick people.

Causes of thrommeluronephritis

The main role in the occurrence of this pathology is played by streptococcus. Therefore, most often thrommeluronephritis develops as a complication after diseases such as:

  1. 1 pneumonia;
  2. 2 diphtheria;
  3. 3 angina;
  4. 4 malaria;
  5. 5 scarlet fever;
  6. 6 brucellosis;
  7. 7 sinusitis;
  8. 8 otitis media;
  9. 9 exacerbation of herpes.

The development of thrommeluronephritis can cause prolonged uncontrolled exposure to the sun, stress, poisoning with toxic substances, severe hypothermia, alcohol intoxication and extensive trauma.

Symptoms of thrommeluronephritis

The first signs of the disease appear 15-20 days after streptococcal infection. Patients complain of morning swelling on the face and ankles, a sharp increase in pressure, shortness of breath even after minor physical exertion, decreased performance, fever, headaches, discomfort in the lumbar region and a decrease in the amount of urine output.

The general analysis of urine shows an increased content of red blood cells and protein. Some patients complain of a feeling of constant thirst, the smell of ammonia in the exhaled air, a change in the color of urine, it takes on the color of meat slops.

Complications of thrommeluronephritis

In rare cases, thrommeluronephritis can be fatal. In 30% of cases, this renal pathology becomes chronic.

With untimely or incorrect treatment, gomeluronephritis can have the following consequences:

  • nephrotic crisis;
  • pulmonary edema;
  • eclampsia, which is a convulsive syndrome, hypertension with a pronounced headache, fainting is possible;
  • acute renal failure, in which there are impaired renal function. At the same time, a reduced amount of urine is observed, fluid accumulates in the body, and toxins are not excreted in the urine in time.

Prevention of gromeluronephritis

Preventive measures should be reduced to the timely diagnosis and correct treatment of infectious diseases, and the elimination of foci of the spread of streptococcal infection, especially in the tonsils. Do not allow sudden hypothermia or overheating of the body.

Patients suffering from allergic diseases are prohibited from vaccinations.

Radical treatment of thrommeluronephritis is impossible, since this pathology is an autoimmune process.

Patients are shown nephroprotection – a set of measures that are aimed at changing lifestyle in order to preserve kidney function, namely:

  1. 1 to give up smoking;
  2. 2 minimal salt intake;
  3. 3 reducing the intake of protein foods;
  4. 4 reducing excess weight;
  5. 5 refusal from non-steroidal medicines;
  6. 6 avoiding excessive physical exertion;
  7. 7 with an exacerbation of the disease, adherence to bed rest.

An effective preventive measure can be hardening, gradual accustoming the body to the cold.

Treatment of thrommeluronephritis in official medicine

It is necessary to start treatment with a diet, reduce the intake of salty foods and proteins. Medication includes diuretics, anticoagulants, cytostatics, anti-inflammatories, and corticosteroids. The duration of therapy depends on the clinical manifestations of the disease and the morphological characteristics of nephropathy.

Regardless of the degree of disease activity, patients with thrommeluronephritis are shown spa treatment.

With correct and timely treatment of the disease, the prognosis can be favorable, there is evidence of complete remission.

Useful products for romeluronephritis

With thrommeluronephritis, diet number 7 is shown, which is aimed at;

  • weakening the signs of hypertension;
  • restoration of the natural outflow of urine;
  • providing a sufficient amount of fluid;
  • reducing the burden on the kidneys;
  • a decrease in the diet of fats and carbohydrates;

During exacerbations, a sugar-fruit diet is allowed, which involves the use of apples, grapes, watermelons and oranges.

The diet for this renal pathology provides for a natural fractional nutrition with an equal time interval between meals. Overeating should not be allowed, the gastrointestinal tract should work without overexertion. Low-fat fermented milk products are recommended, which have a pronounced antioxidant effect.

It is better to cook meat in its own juice, you can also include lean and not salted fish in the menu.
