With the fashion for a healthy lifestyle, in addition to natural cosmetics, facial gymnastics began to enjoy popularity. How much she works, the Woman’s Day correspondent found out after attending the training of Anastasia Burdyug, the first licensed Facebook building coach in Russia.

Recently, all the conversations of friends and colleagues come down to one thing – botox. Someone is bragging about another injection, someone is planning a visit to a beautician in the near future.

I’m 27. I, of course, also think with horror that a little more – and my face, as they say, will float. But, as a supporter of everything natural, I still don’t want to resort to such radical methods as fillers and hyaluron. And I don’t want to walk with wrinkles …

I heard about face building (or gymnastics for the face) for a long time, but I never attached special importance to it. Apparently, it was just not the time. And then by chance (although I believe that there are no accidents) I found on Instagram the page of Anastasia Burdyug, the first licensed trainer of the Carol Magio method in Russia (author of the book Aerobics for Skin and Face Muscles, popular all over the world). I read her posts, looked at photographs of clients before and after classes, and got fired up with the idea of ​​going to a seminar.

It turned out to be very easy to sign up: you need to go to the superlitso.ru website, choose a suitable day and leave a request, you can also immediately call the phone number indicated there.

And then day X has come. My friend and I, having asked for time off from work half an hour earlier, went to meet new knowledge. To be honest, I thought there would be 2-3 more people besides us. And then we entered a room where there were 18 more girls and women from 25 to 45 years old. Nastya, our trainer, appears, the same as in the photo, even better: a perfectly even face, radiant skin … After meeting everyone, she shows that her facial expressions are mobile (this is impossible with Botox) and, for complete conviction, allows everyone to touch their face in normal state and with muscle tension. “Like steel!” – jokes one of the girls, and everyone laughs. By the way, the atmosphere at the training, despite the large number of people, is very light and homely. There is a feeling that everyone has known each other for a very long time.

Then we once again discussed botox, other surgical procedures and all their terrible consequences: when fillers break facial expressions, when people get hooked on a needle, because the skin stretches after the first injection and then wrinkles become deeper, etc.

“It’s good that there is gymnastics,” says Nastya. – She can help everyone: even those who are on a needle have injuries. This is the best therapy. “

Then we get down to business. Nastya shows a picture showing the muscles of the face and gives the first exercise – to open the eyes (or lift the upper eyelid). From the first time it seems that everything is simple: you need to connect the index fingers of the right and left hands, put them on the area between the eyebrows, bend your thumbs and put your nails on the outer corners of the eyes under the lower eyelashes, then close your eyes and pull the index fingers up, and the thumbs – to the ears. Due to the resistance, muscles begin to work and, accordingly, wrinkles are smoothed out.

At first, everyone repeated the task as best they could. Then Nastya approached each student and corrected the technique. It was then that the mistakes were discovered. It turned out that it is not so easy to repeat the exercises correctly. But it became clear why such trainings were needed. I, for example, felt sorry for myself and did not squint very much.

Then Nastya showed 12 more exercises, by doing which you can not only strengthen the oval of the face, get rid of or prevent wrinkles, but also add volume to the cheekbones and lips, and even shorten the nose!

Some exercises were easy, others more difficult. “Never mind, in time everything will work out,” the coach consoled.

The seminar lasted for about two hours. But, according to Nastya, without talking and explaining, gymnastics takes about 10 minutes, and if you hone all the movements, then it can be done in five minutes. The main thing is regularity. Until the age of 29, you can exercise once a day, and if you are already over 30, then twice a day. The first results will be visible immediately: the face will look refreshed and rested. As for smoothing wrinkles and adding volume in the lips and cheekbones, everything is individual here: some will notice changes after three days, others – after six months.

At the training, next to me was a girl who came to the class for the third time (the course includes two classes, but many come much more often). “The first time I didn’t understand all the exercises, only the second time everything started to work out. Now I have come to bring the technique to perfection, ”she shared with me. “And you already see the results?” – I could not help but ask. “It seems to me that my upper eyelid has risen, my eyes have become larger,” my neighbor answered and showed photographs before and after the class. She was beautiful before, but the changes in the after shot were really noticeable.

In general, I came out after gymnastics elated and happy. All the way we discussed exercises and muscles with my friend. By the way, for the first time in my life I felt that they are on my face! And although I am still three years old until 30, I decided to do the exercises twice a day. It’s very interesting what will come of it.
