The electric mini oven, according to the development companies, is an excellent alternative to the bulkier ovens and microwave ovens, which more housewives claim to have negative properties. Professional chefs, however, will never cook even the simplest dish in such a device, preferring even a mini, but still a stove.

Nevertheless, devices of this type are still a strong simplification of full-fledged ovens and ovens. Therefore, while saving space, they can still cook large dishes at the same time – baking trays with lots of muffins, whole poultry or pies. Such food simply does not fit in a mini-oven, so cooking will have to be done in several stages.

On special sites with forums, where the culinary experts themselves leave their opinions and impressions of using mini-ovens, the following “nit-picking” is the most frequent.

The first is that the device gets very hot. The mini-oven does not have sufficiently thick walls and glass that can protect your hands from burns, since technologists, trying to reduce the size of devices, decided to put this aspect not in the first place.

Secondly, some manufacturing companies often sin by the fact that the declared electrical power of the device does not coincide with that which is in practice. This disadvantage is also recognized as a constant disadvantage of microwave ovens.

Or, on the contrary, the most gentle regimes can uncontrollably affect food, bringing it to a burnt state on the surface for 5-10 minutes and leaving it moist inside.

Thirdly, these are shortcomings in the design of the pallets and grates of the oven. Technologists can pay little attention to this issue, which makes it very difficult to get the pallet out of the oven without getting burnt. Also, there are frequent reviews about the strong deformation of the grate even during one cooking at not the highest temperature, after which it is difficult to remove the pan from the mini-oven.

Not the most important, but very annoying, is the lack of a special tray in the mini-oven for crumbs or spilled food. The small size of the device does not allow easy cleaning and removal of food residues from the surface.

Some models of mini-ovens also suffer from such a drawback as a small cord length. As a result, you have to either put the device closer to the outlet, but in an inconvenient place, or additionally purchase an extension cord to supply electricity.

A frequent drawback of pine ovens is the little attention that manufacturers pay to the elaboration of operating instructions.

Some consumers, leaving their negative reviews on the forums, ask themselves the question – “Is the small size of the stove really the reason for the smallest font in the instructions?”

For example, a common disadvantage of the accompanying documentation, users call the lack of recommendations on the time, mode and method of cooking certain dishes.
