Syn.: Eczematous folliculitis of the beard.
Def .: Rare coexistence of folliculitis and chin dermatitis symptoms, mainly in the course of atopic dermatitis. The starting point for folliculitis is staphylococci in the nostrils (carrier). Treatment requires simultaneous antimicrobial treatment and treatment of dermatitis.
