Detox. 5 rules for beginners

Cleansing the body of toxins and toxins is a useful and necessary thing. You may not be on a diet, but it is advisable to “cleanse” yourself from time to time. Thanks to this, you will become lighter – at least on the rise, more energetic and, in the end, younger. Some recommend a five-day diet on juices, others eat nothing but fruit, and still others categorically refuse alcohol and coffee. What if detox is just a marketing ploy to increase sales of beets and green tea?

In order not to suffer, and not to radically rebuild your taste habits, you can start with 5 simple rules for every day. Of course, as in any rules, these also have a place for exceptions – consult your doctor.

1. Before breakfast, drink a glass of warm drinking (quality!) Water with fresh lemon juice. So the body “starts up” better after sleep, the hepatic ducts are released and the digestive system is ready to work.

2. Avoid “packaged” foods such as snacks, cookies, and more throughout the day. Do not eat ready-made salads with mayonnaise and sandwiches, everything that attracts so much with its simplicity and bright taste – ready-made “snacks”.

3. Eat more vegetables, berries and fruits! Lean on salads. It is best if they are raw or cooked in such a way that they retain the beneficial and nutrients.

4. Drink daily at least one and a half to two liters of water. Water quality matters! … Drink water between meals. It is believed that for proper bowel function, you need to drink water with meals in small portions. Listen to your body, it will tell you what is best for you.

5. Coffee and alcohol are not part of a simple detox program. If you are determined, give it up for at least a couple of weeks.

6. Add physical activity to this regimen. Try to walk and walk more outdoors.
