Cinema and gastro at the Donostia festival

The San Sebastián Film Festival, in its 62nd edition, has hosted a series of documentaries and films on the occasion of the production of Culinary Zinema.

Cinema and Gastronomy come together for the fourth time so that the sample completes the themes of the festival with the participation of “Gastro cinema” in the company of themed dinners carried out by internationally renowned chefs.

The festival and even more the part of “Culinary Cinema”Will count during the celebration of the same, the participation of the Tokyo Gohan Film Festival, International contest that was born four years ago to create a new concept of experimentation with food and the five senses while enjoying good movies and music.

The great novelty of the culinary contest is undoubtedly the € 10.000 prize awarded by the jury chosen by the Japanese contest to the films participating in the culinary exhibition.

The cinema and gastronomy section program will show 7 feature films and four shorts, screened from September 20 to 26, and in the same way as in previous editions, their screening will go hand in hand with the thematic dinners served by the Ulía restaurants. , Ni Neu, Ondarreta Tennis and at the Basque Culinary Center.
