On May 13, one of the most prestigious film competitions, the 68th Cannes Film Festival, opened on the French Riviera. This year 19 paintings from different countries will compete for the main prize – “The Golden Palm”.
The event was opened by the screening of an out-of-competition film by Frenchwoman Emmanuel Bercot “Head held high”, in which the legendary Catherine Deneuve played the main role. She was one of the first to appear on the red carpet.
It should be noted that the makeup of all the star guests was very similar: the perfect tone, a particle of highlighter or bronzing powder, beige and sandy smoky eyes and lipsticks in natural shades. Apparently, when choosing an image, the stars paid attention to the beauty trends of the season: this spring and summer, natural shining images and “makeup without makeup” are in fashion.
In choosing a hairstyle, the participants of the event also relied on naturalness. Natalie Portman, Titiana Rocca and Catherine Deneuve chose loose hair. Tatyana Diaghileva, Emilyn Valade and Julianne Moore made sleek tails and buns, which are in any case suitable for the red carpet, and a romantic date or a business meeting. Bar Rafaeli, Alice Taglioni and Clotilde Kuro gathered their hair in a chaotic fashion and pinned it up: a hairstyle effect in five minutes, which can sometimes take an hour to complete!
Also, the editorial staff of Woman’s Day identified the fashion trends of Cannes-2015: feathers, flowers and new white became the most striking images.
