Bowel obstruction secondary to adhesions is a relatively common and frustrating problem to deal with. It is not uncommon for the problem to recur. The treatment will be as conservative as possible, since a new surgery will create other adhesions … We are seeing much less colon cancer occlusions since colorectal cancer screening is done on a larger scale.
