BIO ARABA Ecology and Health

The Alava city of Vitoria-Gasteiz hosts the first Fair of ecological products, healthy life and responsible consumption.

El  Iradier Arena It will be the place where the exhibitors will present their products the next November 7, 8 and 9.

The event introduces us to the concept of a “healthier life”Showing us the alternatives offered by the environment and the variety of organic products that are grown or manufactured around us.

Producers, professionals, institutions, associations and the general public will come to the exhibition from all corners of the national geography to discover the exciting world of Bioculture.

The food sector will not be the only one represented, Bio Arab  summons all areas where ecology is present. 

Transport and Energy will accompany the products of the field together with the cosmetics, clothing and footwear.

Access to the Fair will be free for all visitors, consumers or not of this type of product, who will surely find in them a different way of seeing life, attending to well-being criteria. 

Products related to health and therapies They will also make room for traditional foods so that the environment of the bio culture be a part of everyday life.

The event is completed with a series of conferences, workshops and seminars that bring together the Bio activity of all the sectors present in the sample, among which the following stand out:

  • Taste laboratory for the first day.
  • Labeling Workshop with Tasting for the second day
  • Coffee tasting and olive oil tasting at the culmination of the Fair.

In all Food Fair the presence of the product and the elaboration are a value for the visitor to know, feel and taste, therefore the organization, in parallel to the informative and sensory activities, will present some “show cooking” who will have their focus on crafting a healthy, economical and responsible cooking.

Alavese cooks as Mikel Windows (La Huerta), Ruben Gonzalez (The House of the Patron), or Iker Asurmendi (Gastronomic Consultancy “La almendra”) will present live popular, avant-garde and energetic cuisine respectively.

The event is part of the acts of the Gastronomic Capital that Vitoria runs until December 31, which will give the witness to the Extremaduran city of “Cáceres”
