Amyotrophy

General description of the disease

Amyotrophy is a progressive disease in which muscle mass is constantly lost and muscle strength is lost.

Symptoms of amyotrophy:

  • constant twitching and tingling in the muscles;
  • pain when walking, running;
  • uneven, limping gait;
  • the skin color becomes bluish, the skin itself thickens and puffiness appears;
  • as a result of aminotrophy, patients have kyphosis, scoliosis;
  • with damage to the intercostal muscles – breathing problems – it is difficult, rapid;
  • with the development of the disease, the legs become like an “inverted bottle”;
  • feeling of “running goose bumps” in muscle tissues;
  • disorders with coordination of movements;
  • the so-called “trampling symptom” appears (when the patient gets tired, to reduce muscle tension and relieve fatigue, he shifts from foot to foot, that is, he stumbles on the spot).

Classification of the disease by type:

  1. 1 neural (Charcot-Marie-Tuta) – the disease is transmitted genetically, in which peripheral nerves succumb to damage (the first symptoms can be felt from the age of 15, sometimes after 30), mostly men are sick, the characteristic slow progression of the disease …
  2. 2 spinal – hereditary amyotrophy, in which the motor neurons of the spinal cord are affected, there are several varieties: Werdnig-Hoffman (first and second groups), Kuldberg-Welander, Kennedy (symptoms begin their manifestation from an early age, right up to birth).

The reasons due to which amyotrophy can develop:

  • The first and foremost reason is heredity.
  • Hypothermia.
  • Various injuries.
  • Avitaminosis.
  • May develop against the background of diabetes mellitus or, as a result, transferred syphilis;
  • Frequent bronchitis, pneumonia (because of them, the intercostal muscles become weak, then breathing is disturbed).

Useful products for amyotrophy

Nutrition for this disease should be complete, rich in fats, carbohydrates, proteins, amino acids and minerals.

Essential amino acids are needed to strengthen muscles, namely consumption in food:

  • valine – cereals and legumes, mushrooms, meat dishes, peanuts, dairy products;
  • isoleucine – almonds, cashews, chickpeas (chickpeas), fish, chicken eggs, liver, seeds, soy;
  • leucine – meat, fish dishes, eggs, dark rice, oats;
  • lysine – products from wheat, amaranth, milk, meat;
  • methionine – legumes of all varieties;
  • threonine – beans, chicken eggs, dairy products and nuts;
  • tryptophan – dates (must be dried), sesame seeds, cedar nuts, yogurt, cottage cheese, turkey meat;
  • phenylalanine – beef, cottage cheese and milk, chicken fillet.

Indispensable in the fight against aminotrophy is L-carnitine, which can be found in sufficient quantities in:

  • liver;
  • meat: beef, veal, pork, turkey, goose and duck;
  • dairy products: sour cream, cream, cottage cheese.

Everyone knows that anabolic steroids help good muscle growth. But in the treatment, natural substances are needed, so you should eat natural, not chemical, anabolic steroids, namely:

  • herring;
  • grapefruit;
  • drink yoghurts, green tea and coffee;
  • broccoli;
  • tomatoes;
  • spinach and parsley;
  • garlic with onions;
  • watermelons;
  • sunflower seeds;
  • blueberry berries.

It is imperative for men to eat foods that increase testosterone levels:

  • parsnip herb;
  • horseradish roots, parsley, ginseng;
  • dill;
  • bee pollen;
  • lean meat;
  • a small amount of home-made alcohol.

For better digestibility of all of the above elements, the body should be saturated with vitamins B, E, C, phosphorus and zinc.

Traditional medicine for amyotrophy

There are many recipes in traditional medicine to get rid of muscle atrophy and strengthen them.

  1. 1 Tincture made from egg shells, honey with lemon and cognac. This tincture will help to replenish the lack of calcium in the body, an insufficient amount of which, according to traditional healers, can lead to amyotrophy. First of all, take 6 fresh chicken eggs (there should be eggs with only white shells), wash thoroughly and place in a jar. Then take 10 lemons, squeeze the juice and pour over the eggs into a jar. Cover the neck of the jar with a gauze cloth and tie it tightly, and the container itself must be pasted over with dark paper so that the sun’s rays do not penetrate and leave for 6-8 days (depending on how long it takes for the shell to dissolve). After the shell dissolves, the eggs need to be taken out and poured into a jar 0,3 liters of linden honey (a little warmed up, but in no case should it be boiled – otherwise, honey from a medicine turns into poison). Then add a glass of cognac there. This tincture should be stored in a cool place, always in the dark. Consume 3 dessert spoons per day in 3 doses immediately after eating.
  2. 2 A decoction for amyotrophy, made from calamus root, corn stigmas, sage, knotweed and toadflax. Each component will require 100 grams. Every day for 4 times you need to drink 700 milliliters of broth, and 50-55 minutes before meals. To prepare such an amount of infusion, you will need 3 tablespoons of the mixture, which must be placed in a thermos and filled with hot boiled water. Leave to infuse overnight, then filter in the morning. The broth is ready to be taken.
  3. 3 Kvass from oats. Take a half-liter jar of oatmeal (peeled from the husk, but left in the shell), rinse in three waters, pour into a liter container (a regular liter glass jar is best). Add 30 grams of sugar, 5 grams of citric acid to it. Fill with clean (preferably filtered) water. Kvass will be ready in 3 days. From this oats, you can prepare such kvass 2 more times. You just need to add water and sugar. Citric acid, in this case, is thrown once.
  4. 4 It is useful to eat sprouted wheat grains to strengthen muscles.
  5. 5 Compresses from reed panicles. They can be harvested between October and March. Collect two panicles, steam in hot water for 40 minutes. Remove from the water, let cool slightly and apply to all limbs, securing the panicles with bandages. Wrap the patient warmly. The compress must be kept while the panicles give off warmth. After they have cooled down, it is necessary to massage all the limbs well, starting from the tips of the fingers.
  6. 6 If the limbs become numb, then garlic tincture will help well. To prepare it, take a 1/2 liter jar, fill a third with garlic gruel, fill the remaining 2/3 with vodka. Cover with a lid, store the jar in a dark place for 2 weeks (this time is enough for the tincture to gain strength). Shake the jar from time to time. After two weeks, filter the tincture. You need to take it for a month, 5 drops per teaspoon of water three times a day.
  7. 7 Joint baths. If the joints of the hands are affected, then for them you need to do vegetable baths. To prepare a bath, you need to boil the peels from onions, carrots, potatoes, carrots and beets in a 5-liter saucepan. After cooking, drain the water into a basin or toe, where you will directly make a bath. Add 20 drops of iodine and 15 grams of salt to the water. Dip your hands in warm water and massage at the same time. After the procedure, it is better to put on warm mittens or gloves on your hands.
